Hello,
I have spent the last couple of weeks trying to download the new flash player version (11.5.502.110 - I have IE9 on Windows 7 computer).
I have lost track of how many times I have downloaded this - every time, it downloads successfully (and I get the congratulations, your download was successful message). Every time, I test the download by clicking straight onto a flash-using page, where everything works, and then go to the Adobe page that tests which version you have installed, where it tells me I have the correct version installed.
However, once I close my browser/computer down, the next time I use the internet and visit flash-using sites, I am told I don't have the latest version installed. If I go to the Adobe page that tests which version you have, I see the blank box telling me I don't have flash player installed. In the Control Panel, under Programs, Flash player 11 appears in the list as an option to uninstall, and it also appears as Enabled in my Internet Options Add-On manager, but I cannot find any 'flash player' files/folders saved in my hard drive.
I have tried all the options on the Adobe help page for installation issues, I have uninstalled and installed numerous times, and I have trawled through the help forum, to no avail.
I would appreciate if someone could please help me with this..
Thank you!
