Hello,
I started having problems with watching videos soon after updating to the latest Adobe Flash. The videos are stuttering and freezing making it very difficult to watch anything. (BTW, I recently updated Firefox too around same time).
Computer = Compaq Presario V2000 laptop
OS = Windows XP v 2002 SP3, 32 bit
Processor 3000+
RAM = 640MB
Browser = Firefox 21.0
Adobe Flash = 11.7 r700
Driver = ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
I have seen the responses on the board here to check your drivers and be sure they are updated when this issue happens – so I used the ATI “auto-detect” tool to see if my driver needed updating but it told me there were no products to match. I believe it is far too old to be able to update, so does this mean I can’t do anything about this issue at all?
And for what it is worth, everything else is updated that needs to be, and I clear my cookies and cache on a daily basis, as well as I check my defrag and clean up my hard drive in order to keep things running along as smoothly as possibly given the age of this laptop.
Thank you for any tips or advice you may have for me.
