I am browsing a lot so I always have 2 browsers open (chrome and firefox) with several tabs open in each one, ranging from 5 to 20 tabs, sometimes more. Most of these tabs are just websites but I also keep open a facebook flash game and a couple of flash videos on hold. I have an i7 3770K and 32GB of ram. While I am writting this, the FlashPlayerPlugin consumes about 3.83GB of ram which should not be a problem for my system but still, if I try to interact with a flash item, it's cranky. It takes few seconds to respond to my clicks or mouse-overs. Also, sometimes I leave everything open over night and in the morning it's almost guarantee that the flash plugin will have crashed. I noticed that if for example I close the flash game and re-open it, it's performs perfectly and the ram usage goes down. As the time pass by, it gets harder and harder to interact with.
So my question is: since I have so much ram, why flash becomes so unresponsive? I would expect such behavior if I was maxing out or exceeded my ram requirements but I'm far from reaching that.
