This is a very aggravating issue for me.
When I'm playing a video on YouTube, the volume on my laptop turns very loud for three or four seconds, but then cuts down to a very low volume. This forces me to have to have the volume setting abnormally high in order to compensate. I believe the issue is with Adobe Flash.
I looked at my volume settings and I see that, for some reason, Adobe Flash has two "knobs" to adjust volume. The first volume knob only appears after I have played a video on YouTube for three to four seconds and I believe it is the reason why Adobe Flash is adjusting my volume.
I know my computer can play videos louder than what Adobe Flash is allowing it to. This is extremely frustrating.
Is this a known issue? When will it be fixed?
I am using Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash 11.8 on Windows 7 64-bit.
