Hello everyone,
I can't believe I actually had to make an account to get help on this, but I really can't stand it any longer so I hope someone here can help me out.
Recently, Flash Player has been making extremely annoying 'plop' sounds. They sound like a small block of wood is hitting another small block of wood, perhaps like a wooden instrument. The sound is made at irregular intervals - sometimes I won't hear it for hours, then suddenly 10 times in a minute or even more often. It doesn't seem to be tied to anything at all. I have searched high and low all over the internet but couldn't find anything about this issue at all, so I'm wondering if it's just me, and if so what I did to deserve this.
I'm actually 100% sure it's Flash, because in the Windows audio mixer, I can see Flash Player's equaliser jump up when the 'plop' sound is audible, and none of the others jump. When I muted Flash Player the sound went away, but obviously I didn't install this software just to disable it.
Did anyone here ever hear of this issue, and if so does anyone have a cure?
I'm running Windows 7 and Firefox by the way and using the latest Flash Player.
Kind regards,
Richard from the Netherlands
