How can I delete FP 9 from my computer.

As of today, I have Flash Player-11 installed on my computer but every time I try execute a Flash file, a Flash Player-9 window comes up, (overriding FP-11) and the file is not executed and nothing happens. Also, I can't find in the usual folders to either uninstall, delete or disable the FP-9 program. How do I get rid of FP-9.
