Adobe Flash keeps crashing in FF 19.0.2

Hello,

  I am runnign FF 19.0.2 in Windows 7 Pro on a Dell XPS 410. Until a week ago,  all was fine, then I began receiving error messages that the Flash plugin was crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox; uninstalled and reinstalled Flash; the condition remained.  This also causes a slowness in Firefox which does not occur in Chrome. I also checked for malware, bugs, viruses, etc. - nothing turned up.

  I sent a couple of queries out in the Mozilla forums, but received no responses and am hoping I can get some help here.

  Any and all info is greatly appreciated.
