For a while I have been having this issue...
every 30 mins or so when I check the Windows 7 task manager I can see the following process running:
Adobe Flash Player Installer/Uninstaller 11.8 r800
I let it run forever but it never finished whatever the hell it's doing
When I end the porocess it just comes back 30 minutes later, sometimes sooner
I have auto-update disabled, I have tried reinstalling flash, I am using internet explorer
PLEASE HELP ME STOP THIS FOREVER, I WILL DONATE MY LIFE'S SAVINGS TO SAVING AFRICAN BABIES IF YOU DO
