11,7,700,179 causing BSOD system service exception

I'm on windows 7 64 bit, I used to have BSOD once every 10 times I played a youtube video... this was resolved in the older versions of Flash once I disabled hardware accelleration... google chrome recently updated my flash player to 11,7,700,179 and Ie? started getting two BSOD within a day playing youtube.

What I noticed is that there is no option to turn hardware acceleration on/off in this new version, so what are my options now? Does firefox still let me install older versions of flash without forcing me to update?

EDIT: yep, definitely the new flash player. Just opened my internet explorer which used the older version of Flash where I can still turn off hardware acceleration. Opened 10 youtube videos simultaneously, withstood the stability test easily, no BSODs.
