Help for Linux users and Flash Player

As a user of Ubuntu, I might have found a solution to the Flash Player problems.

If you're prepared to use beta versions of Flash and manually update the libflashplayer.so file, this seems to have solved ALL the problems I had with Flash Player problems on my Ubuntu Netbook.  If you wish to enjoy using Linux and need websites to work properly with Flash Player using both Firefox and Google Chrome (or Chromium), here's a workaround that seems to work brilliantly with Ubuntu:

Log in and open the Home folder.

Press CTRL and H to show the hidden folders that begin with a full stop.

Open .mozilla then open .firefox and create a new folder in there called plugins

Download the latest beta version of Adobe Flash player http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

Extract the libflashplayer.so into the plugins folder

If you've had problems with Flash Player in Linux (in this case Ubuntu), I hope this workaround helps to solve the problems.  The only catch is you need to repeat the steps above for other users who log into Ubuntu if their Home folders are inaccessible without them logging in.
