I have had this issue and can't totally fix it but I used to have some sort of remedy that I swear I bookmarked but can't find it. I play a set of flash games about every 9 months or so.
I have Windows 7 and can't play flash on chrome or IE so I use FF.
When I right click on a flash game to change the flash settings, all I get are Settings, Global Settings, Check updates and About. I've seen suggestion images
where there are more and one of those allows one to change the graphics quality to low. I'd like to do that. * Is there another way to get to that setting?
Just FYI, I've done the bit where one changes their computer settings from 32 bit to 16. That didn't help at all and I've also done the dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled set to false which did help a little bit.
Why is this a constant issue over the years. I guess that doesn't matter. Just if you could answer the * question.
