I can not alter Global Storage Settings (Flash 11, Windows 7 64bit)

I use Mozilla Firefox as my preferred browser on a Lenovo Notebook with Windows 7 (64bit) with the Adobe Flash Plugin 11.8.800.94 installed. I noticed that on some sites Adobe Flash is not working properly (e.g. Adobe TV) and could narrow the problem down to the global storage settings.

Using the Global Storage Settings panel i found out that the limit is set to "none". But although i can move the slider to increase the limit, it seems the limit is not actually set after switching the tabs of the settings manager the limit is set to "none" again.

Naturally i tried uninstalling Flash and Firefox - without any luck. I also tried to delete the "Flash Player" folder in %APPDATA% but this did also not work.

Google Chrome on the other hand works fine with the same flash installation.
